[Hiring: Head of Sales]

Placement: Remote/Work From Home.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively approach existing relationships with banks, BPRs, P2Ps and multifinance companies to generate qualified leads.
  • Run senior-level sales conversations with CEOs, Directors, Credit Heads, Risk Heads and IT
  • Lead negotiations: pricing, pilots, scope, contract structure
  • Personally close deals and bring paying customers
  • Work directly with the CEO (English communication required) on strategy, objections, and deal structuring
  • Provide real market feedback to product and leadership (what actually blocks deals, not vanity metrics)
  • Over time, build, lead, and coach the Indonesia sales team as Moneta scales
  • Set sales standards, playbooks, and negotiation strategy based on what actually works in the field
  • Mentor junior sales/account managers and help them close deals (not just generate leads)
  • Act as the local commercial leader for Indonesia, representing Moneta with partners and clients

 

Who We’re Looking For

  • 8-15+ years experience in Indonesian finance (banking, BPR, P2P, multifinance, fintech, risk, credit, or enterprise financial software)
  • Proven personal network in Indonesian lending institutions
  • Strong negotiation skills; comfortable pushing deals to close
  • Understands credit, underwriting, risk, or lending workflows (not just sales theory)
  • Can communicate clearly in basic to good English with the CEO and Moneta’s C-level team
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, ownership and accountability
  • Results-driven and financially motivated
  • Comfortable transitioning from individual contributor → team leader as the business scales
  • Strong ability to transfer knowledge: deal strategy, objection handling, pricing logic

 

Strong Plus (Not Required)

  • Western education or international exposure
  • Experience working at global banks, fintechs, or international SaaS companies
  • Prior experience selling enterprise software or data products to banks
  • Experience closing pilots to paid contracts
